B.Sc. in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or equivalent. 9 years experience in a petroleum refinery laboratory with a wide range of knowledge in quality control, internationally established standard test methods / testing techniques and instrumental analysis, research applicable in particular to testing of crude oil / condensate & petroleum products, of which at least 4 years should have been in a supervisory position. Very Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.

Diploma in Analytical Chemistry or equivalent qualification OR Higher Secondary School Certificate (on completion of 12 years education) offering Science subjects. Diploma in Analytical Chemistry or equivalent qualification. 5 years experience in a Petroleum Refinery Laboratory and familiarity with advanced computerized Laboratory equipment. OR Higher Secondary School Certificate (on completion of 12 years education) offering Science subjects. 8 years experience in Petroleum Refinery Laboratory and familiarity with advanced computerized Laboratory equipment. Good command of written and spoken English. Computer literate.

B Sc in Chemical or Petroleum Processing Engineering. OR Completion of Technical Secondary education followed by 2 years full time training leading to a Diploma in a technical certification. 10 Years experience in various plant operations aspects, preferably in an petroleum refining and/or petrochemical facilities. Or 5 years experience in process / operations with sound proven knowledge on Pilot Plant operations. 4. Computer Literate and good interpersonal skills.

Welding & Painting lecturer must have following minimum qualification:
1. CSWIP Senior Welding Inspector Level 3 (3.2)
2. BGAS-CSWIP Painting Inspector Grade 2
3. Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Note: the selected candidates will go through training sessions to become CSWIP and BGAS approved lecturers, prior to delivering the relevant courses.

A)Review the ITB (Invitation To Bid) documents submitted in the proposals stage, issue inquiry requisitions, review techno-commercial vendor offers, prepare equipment, material and man-hour estimates. B)Review contract requirements for project execution, organize the preparation of the Technical Document Register (TDR), identify requirements and scope of work; review specifications Process Data Sheets (PDS), Piping Material Specifications (PMS), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID’s), Plot plans, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, Review Philosophies, Area Classification Drawings, Fire and Gas Detector Layout Drawings and other relevant documents. Establish contract review criteria, identify and resolve discrepancies and divergences from original proposal through the instigation of technical queries to projects/client.

Position reports directly to the Project QA/QC Manager and shall support the Project Manager and his team. Incumbent shall be assigned to the Project and be responsible for the effective implementation of the Project Quality Management System from the commencement of detailed engineering to project completion and turnover to the final asset holder. Initially the incumbent will be based in the Contractor Engineering Design Office, and shall subsequently transfer to the Construction Site maybe be required. Key responsibilities include developing the project quality plan for the detailed design and construction phases of the project; develop and obtain agreement on the internal and external audit program. Perform internal audits of the project quality system to ensure effective implementation of the QMS/QP and perform audits on the integrity and robustness of the EPC Contractor, Subcontractor(s) and Supplier Quality Management Systems.
